FW17 GLITTER cargo coat

Rick Owens' amazing runway coat from the GLITTER FW17 season. The only piece displayed online so far that has exactly the same characteristics as the one from the runway, the rarest version. The coat features an extended jacket shape made in raw wool, cotton and silk yarns. On the left lapel of the jacket it has a huge “bauhaus” pocket detail which is the most important design element. The pocket is made of a technical fabric sewn onto the raw material of the jacket, which also surrounds the button closures. The sleeves are made of stretchy technical fabric and are totally asymmetrical - one of them is split into two fabrics and one has the pocket on the side. This is undoubtedly one of Rick Owens' most joyful and valuable items.
