What you can rent
- Every piece in the VORHE store, except consignment items and new, unworn footwear.
- While rented, a piece is taken off sale on all channels.
- First rental: pieces worth up to PLN 5,000. Above that, after one completed rental or with a 50% deposit.
- We ship within the EU. Outside the EU, rentals would need customs clearance both ways.
- Shipping both ways is paid by the client; on request we order GlobKurier labels at the client’s cost.
- We reserve the right to decline a rental without giving a reason.
Wear and damage
- Normal signs of wear from the set cost nothing.
- Washing and cleaning are not normal wear. If a piece needs it after the rental (stains, make-up, self-tan, perfume, smoke, sweat odour), you pay the cost per the cleaner’s invoice plus VAT.
- Damage: you pay the cost of repair or specialist cleaning per the workshop’s invoice, plus the loss of value. We document the condition with photos at handover and after the return.
- If a piece is lost or can’t be repaired, you pay a contractual penalty equal to the value of the piece stated in the agreement (usually its price on vorhe.co on the day the agreement is made). We may claim damages above the penalty. Paying the penalty does not transfer ownership of the piece to you.
- An extension at half the daily rate applies only if agreed by email before the return date. For each day of use after the return date without such agreement, you pay a fee equal to the full daily rate (1/7 of the weekly rent, at least 1/7 of the minimum) plus VAT.
- A piece not returned 7 days after the due date is treated as lost: you pay the contractual penalty equal to its value plus the fee for the days after the due date.
- We inspect the pieces within 5 working days of the return and refund the deposit by bank transfer within 3 working days of the inspection. We set off all amounts due under the agreement, including penalties, interest and costs. If they exceed the deposit, you pay the difference within 7 days of the invoice or debit note.
Agreement and liability
- These terms form part of the rental agreement we sign with your company. We also send them to you as a PDF before signing, and in the agreement you confirm you received them. If the agreement says otherwise, the agreement prevails. Your own general terms do not apply.
- The agreement states the project the rental serves within your business, and the value of each piece.
- A booking is binding once the agreement is signed and the rent and deposit are paid. We hand over the pieces only after that payment. If you don’t pay within 3 days of signing, we may withdraw from the agreement.
- Until handover you may withdraw: free of charge more than 72 hours before handover, later against a withdrawal fee of 50% of the rent, which we retain from the rent paid. We refund the rest of the rent and the deposit within 3 working days.
- For pick-up, handover takes place when the pieces are handed to you. For shipping, handover takes place when the parcel is dispatched, and the return when it is delivered to us. Parcels both ways are insured for the full value of the pieces, at your cost.
- From handover to return, including transit, you are liable for loss of and damage to the pieces, including by contractual penalty, also without your fault, in particular as a result of theft, accident, the carrier’s actions or third parties. You are not liable for the consequences of our fault. Any compensation from the carrier is credited against what you owe.
- You report loss, theft or damage to us by email within 24 hours, and theft also to the police.
- You check the condition and completeness of the pieces at handover and report any issue by email, with photos, within 24 hours. After that, the pieces are deemed handed over in the agreed condition.
- The pieces are pre-owned, often archival. Visible flaws are described in the agreement or shown in photos. You check size, fit and suitability for the project before booking; we are not liable for these features.
- Pieces may be used only in the project named in the agreement — not worn privately, sublet or used outside the project. They may not be altered, hemmed, dyed or taped without our consent.
- You are responsible for the people you entrust the pieces to on set (cast, stylists, crew) as for your own acts.
- Our liability to you on any ground — including failure or delay in handover, defects of the pieces and the carrier’s actions — is limited to the rent paid for that rental. We are not liable for lost profits or production costs such as a shoot day, crew, cast or location. If we fail to hand over a piece through our fault, we refund the full rent and deposit or, with your consent, provide a similar piece. This limit does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or to personal injury.
- Late payments bear statutory interest for delay in commercial transactions and compensation for recovery costs (EUR 40, 70 or 100). You may not set off your claims against amounts you owe us.
- If your EU VAT number is not active in VIES on the invoice date, we add Polish VAT.
- Consents and notices are sent by email. The agreement is governed by Polish law. Disputes are resolved exclusively by the common court competent for Siemianowice Śląskie.

FAQ
Questions
Do you rent to private persons?
We rent to businesses only: productions, brands, agencies and stylists running a business. The agreement is made with the business, and we issue it a VAT invoice.
Do you issue VAT invoices?
Yes. The agreement is with your company and we issue a VAT invoice for the rent. The deposit is refundable and not subject to VAT.
Can you ship to us?
Yes, by insured courier within the EU. You can also pick up in person in Siemianowice Śląskie.
Can we rent a piece that is for sale in the store?
Yes — almost everything in the store can be rented, except consignment items and new footwear. For your rental period, the piece is taken off sale.
