Attachment began in 1999 under the direction of designer Kazuyuki Kumagai. A pupil of the esteemed Japanese designer Issey Miyake, Kumagai founded his own label to focus on streetwear inspired by military and biker garments. The brand was quickly renowned for their staples - leather jackets, tees, and denim.
