Very rare early 2000s Yves Saint Laurent jacket built in a mixed material construction that contrasts glossy black base panels with raised embroidered leather sections across the sleeves body and back. The leather is worked with an all over organic motif stitched in warm metallic thread giving the surface a textured almost relief finish while the satin like panels keep the silhouette clean and sharp. Stand collar and a structured straight cut make it read like a utility jacket at first glance but the fabric treatment and embroidery push it into statement archive territory. Finished with a snap front plus an inner zip multi pocket layout and hardware details including eyelets and lace style waist adjustment and buckle tabs at the cuffs and hem. Made in Italy with a viscose cotton lining. Fiocchi hardware.
