Black cotton blazer with ruching at the side panels and along the center back seam, giving the jacket a softly gathered shape. Peak lapels with a densely topstitched collar frame the multi-button front, while flap hip pockets, a slanted chest welt pocket and three-button cuffs complete the design. Tonal topstitching runs along the seams throughout. Made in Italy from 100% cotton.

Ann Verhelst is a Belgian fashion designer, best known for her brand, Ann Demeulemeester. She attended the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, which she graduated from in 1981, becoming a member of an iconic Antwerp Six - a group of 6 alumni, that presented an innovative approach to the material, deconstruction, introducing ethinc symbols, and using recycling in fashion. The show was met with an amazing response, and all of the designers got an incredible start to developing their own careers.
