Details

Comme des Garçons is a japanese fashion brand founded by Rei Kawabuko in 1969, Tokyo. Name in French means "like boys", which is a reference to song „Tous les garçons et les filles" by Françoise Hardy. In the seventies brand started seeing greater success in the fashion community, adding the menswear line, "Homme", in 1978. In 1981 they held their first debut fashion show in Paris, which ended up being received badly by French critics due to excessive black in clothing, distressed materials, and unfinished seams in designs.

Classic black coat. It has visible distressing on the edges and throughout the entire back, giving it a unique, raw look. It is a runway piece, coming from Fall Winter 2002 collection. It has characteristic, yellow buttons that can be seen on many more garments from the collection.
