MR06 Soft Horse Reverse Leather Tote

Large tote bag by Guidi crafted in Italy from soft reverse horse leather in a saturated red tone. The exterior uses the reverse suede side of the leather, giving the bag a dense texture and deep, irregular coloration characteristic of Guidi’s vegetable-tanned hides.

The construction is minimal yet architectural. Two structural leather straps run vertically along the body and connect to thick double handles via metal ring hardware. The silhouette subtly narrows toward the base and opens widely at the top, creating a sculptural shape when carried. Reinforced leather panels at the bottom corners provide stability while maintaining the natural softness of the leather.

The interior is fully finished in smooth red leather and is exceptionally beautiful in its own right. Because of this fully leather construction, the bag can effectively be worn reversible, revealing the polished leather interior as an alternative exterior. This creates two very different visual expressions: the textured reverse leather outside or the sleek full-grain leather surface.
