205W39NYC was a Calvin Klein’s line founded in 2017, as a form of the rebranding of the „Collection” line when Raf Simons became main designer in the brand. Raf’s colorful avant-garde became a new chapter for the whole Calvin Klein brand. Famous inside-out oversized jumpers, metal nose boots, or collaborations with Robert Mapplethorpe and Andy Warhol became Iconic and applauded by fashion critics. Unfortunately, CK205 turned out not to sell well and in December 2018 Calvin Klein ended Raf’s contract.
